I have been a nature and artistic impressionistic photography for almost seven years now. Although shunned by the many famous photographers of the early seventies, there are quite a few photographers who still continue to pursue this art.
Though the latest softwares have started to provide plenty of desktop imaging options to digital photographers, I still continue to create impressionist art on film. I like the image when its projected on the large screen that almost draws the viewer into the realm of the art. I would still continue of film, as long as Fuji, Kodak and Agfa keep making them, and as long as I find some lab to process them.
Over a period of time I had numerous questions from artists of similar creativity as to how to create them. I have updated my website (photoduniya.com at http://www.photoduniya.com/) with many of those techniques in the “Techniques” section. There is no substitute to practice and I still continue to learn for some of the experts.
